My Review
5 ***** Hot, steamy and good
Like the blurb says, Sal is hot, young, and bad, just as Tea for Two is hot, steamy, and good. I’ve read The Initiation, so I wasn’t lost in the story, but I can understand other readers complaining about that feeling, because they hadn’t read the other books. I recommend you do, since they are good, and you’ll enjoy Tea for Two better. Also because you’ll ease into Kailee Reese Samuels’ writing style, which is quite good, but different from what most readers usually find in romance/erotica. For starters, she changes POV frequently and without warning, creating a true omniscient sense as you read her books. Personally, I’m all for it – and my editor knows how hard she worked to convince me not to do that LOL. I like to know what all the characters are thinking and feeling and I don’t lose track of what’s going on. It feels like a puzzle, which I love putting together. Unfortunately, many readers don’t appreciate the lost art of multiple POVs, so be aware of that.
The heart wrenching emotions she touches on and the breathtaking cliffhanger are not for the faint of heart, either. Again, they score high in my evaluation of a story. Combined with the author’s talented character building and engaging plot unraveling, Tea for Two will reel you in and never let you go.
Prepare to be stunned.
