But falling for a beautiful woman with dangerous ties to his sworn enemy was never part of the plan…

But now that she’s put her MC days behind her, she is free to do what she wants—until she meets a man who imprisons her, body and soul. She swore she’d never give her heart to a biker, but Holt is the most passionate, protective man she’s ever known. But will Holt be forced to betray his one true love to exact his revenge?

MY REVIEW

5***** Bikers, revenge, and love

Although I’m not a fan of the MC genre, this book grabbed my attention and kept me going, which I think speaks volumes about its qualities. However, Chaos Bound is a dark and at times disturbing read. Issues like torture and rape can be triggers for some readers so I recommend caution if you don’t like this kind of things. Personally, I don’t look for that in the books I read and they’re not my style of writing but these scenes didn’t prevent me from liking the book.

As for the story line, be prepared for an intriguing, twisted plot. I don’t know about you but I love plots like that! In the name of honesty, I must confess there were a few moments which required a bit suspension of disbelief on my part; but this is a given with romance novels so they didn’t bother me. I just rolled with them and enjoyed the story.

Regarding the characters, they’re multifaceted, deep and realistic, which means not all of them are likeable. But those are not supposed to be because they’re the bad guys. Holt is a flawed yet tortured soul (pun intended) as well as a damn hot alpha male while Naiya is a strong and intelligent female lead. Their interactions got me enthralled and I couldn’t put the book down.

Finally, I’d like to say that although this is a standalone book, I’m sure I would have picked up on other things if I had read the previous installments so if you like the genre you might want to start with book one in the series.

I recommend Chaos Bound for those fan of MC stories and for those who are looking to expand their reading tastes because this is a high-quality book, which will make for a great introduction to a new genre.
