My rating – 3 out of 5*
I’m embarrassed to confess I wasn’t able to connect with Abigail and Jack. I tried. Hard. Their story didn’t do it for me though. On the one hand, I had a serious case of déjà vu as I remembered another billionaire (you know who so I shall not mention his name) and another virgin. Only this time it made even less sense to me because there are serious issues with the plot and pace, in my opinion. On the other hand, there are even more unrealistic bits. Well, it’s either that or I’ve been going to the wrong restaurants because I’m yet to find one offering Valium pills at the restroom. Or roommates who turn to be millionaires and can produce a killing red-carpet-type dress at the drop of a hat (pun intended) because the billionaire the heroine met this morning has invited her to have dinner with the mayor and his wife. Seriously?
However, this is just my opinion and I ask you guys NOT to take it into consideration because 90% of the book’s readers on Amazon alone granted it 5 or 4 stars. My advice: see it for yourself. You might agree with them instead of me. 😀
