The Summer Solstice: Enchanted

(An Urban / Paranormal Fantasy – BOOK ONE)(The Summer Solstice Series 1)

What a page-turner this book is! I read it practically in one seating.
I am a big fan of all things paranormal and have read my fair share of books and this one went straight to my top fifty list, which includes classics such as Frankenstein and Dracula as well as modern tales as Marion Zimmer Bradley and Anne Rice have woven.
On the other hand, I am too old to empathize with YA characters in general but Katrina Summer stole my heart. Her courage and open-mindedness when facing life-altering events and her new situation are remarkable.
Not wanting to spoil the story for the readers, I am just going to say that if you are looking for a well-written, steady-paced, and believable paranormal read – look no further. The Summer Solstice is your best bet.
Get ready to be sucked into this new world that the talented K. K. Allen has so beautifully created. But be aware – you won’t be willing to leave it any time soon.
